New York Motorcycle Show

The New York motorcycle show was extremely successful. The crowds were what we use to see back in 05, 06 with the floor so busy, walking around was tight. The people at New Jersey Motorsports Park worked us in, so we displayed in their 50 X 50 booth space, and the layout turned out to be great. Our booth shaped up, and the colors were vibrant. Red, Black and some white made us stand out and everything came together.

Driving to the show I received a call from Don from the track who was on his way as well. He asked what type of bike we were bringing and I said I didn't have a bike for the first time in years. He didn't seem all to happy hearing, so I told him I would see what I could do. I jumped on the phone with Omar from Monmouth Cycles and asked him for some help. He called around only to find out no one could help. I sat then and prayed for a bike and went about my business. After we placed the last Rev-it suit for display, we thought no bike, and Dom and I looked at one another with blank stares. Just then this nice man Chris from Eurocycles comes over and says "guys... do you think I could bring over a bike to display in your booth"? I immediately hit the deck and thought, there is a God and he heard me. I was hoping it not to be a Hoyosung but I was happy. The next thing that happened was priceless. To my surprise a brand new Aprilia RSV4 rolls into our booth and yes the motor ran. I just about couldn't catch my own breath, with this most awesome bike finishing out our booth.

How lucky can you get? Very! As many of you may know by now, the nice (slow hehe) people over at NYSBC have joined us in quest to make track time and events even better! We are proud to be working with such great guys, and welcome all their members to our family. Its fantastic to get this kind of relationship going, as it doesn't happen everyday, and is kind of hard since sportbike track personalities are very competitive. This is the kind of thing that every one wins, and everyone can play together, although I'm still faster... hehehe.

I would like to thank all the members of Team Pro-Motion and NYSBC for making Team Pro-Motion possible. New Jersey Motorsports Team. Pirelli Tires. Monmouth Cycles. Eurocycles. Penske Shocks. Rev-it. The people who make Team Pro-Motion run smoothly. All the tracks who provide us the place where it happens. The bike manufacturers who bring us the tools we need to get the job done.
